George S. Androulakis, born in 1969 was awarded his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Department of Mathematics, University of Patras, Greece, where he also received his Ph.D. in the Unconstrained Optimization Methods. Having worked as a tutor at the departments of Mathematics, Pharmacy and Geology at the University of Patras currently is a Professor in the field of Quantitative Methods in Social and Educational Research at the department of Business Administration; he is also teaching at the postgraduate course in Mathematics for Decision Making, University of Patras. His interests are focused in nonlinear unconstrained optimization, neural networks training, optimal Runge-Kutta methods, systems of non-algebraic and/or transcendental functions.
