Dr. Elen Paraskevi Paraschi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Tourism Management at the University of Patras, specializing in the Management of Air Transport and Tourism organizations. She holds a PhD from the School of Business Administration at the University of Patras. She also has extensive managerial experience in aviation, working as an airport officer for the Hellenic Aviation Service Provider (HASP) for two decades. She has taught a variety of subjects at the Department of Tourism Management, the Department of Business Administration and the Hellenic Open University. She has developed and patented the Airport Business Excellence Model (ABEM™), a holistic model for evaluating airport performance, and she has also created the Quality-of-Life Tourism Model (QoLTM) for the Greek islands. Additionally, she participates in the European Network on the Impact of Climate Change on Aviation (EN-ICCA) under the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which focuses on ensuring aviation safety against risks related to climate change. Her scientific work has been published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, such as Tourism Management, Economic and Industrial Democracy, Transport Policy, Transport Economics and Management, Journal of Airline Operations and Aviation Management, Journal of Aviation, Journal of Environmental Management and Tourism, etc. Additionally, her research has been presented at international conferences.
